Metrology for Industry West Midlands is a grant funded scheme providing access to the expertise and support that can help .
A Metrology Review can be undertaken to review and assess your production process and measurement capabilities. The review will focus in any of your known issues which could include too many re-works and returns or excess scrappage of expensive raw materials.
Our panel of vendor independent experts are skilled across many manufacturing sectors and have a wide range of skills covering colour measurement, weight, dimensional, texture, temperature, humidity and moisture. They will produce a detailed visit report which will provide recommendations of how measurement and metrology can help to improve your company.
We are pleased to be able to fund 50% of the review.
Following on from a Metrology Review we can also provide you the opportunity of an Implementation Project. Here we can provide grants of up to £10,000 to implement the recommendations from your review. This can include consultancy or capital costs associated with buying new equipment.
